Welcome to the Asian Peritoneal Surface Malignancy Group (APSMG)
APSMG is a network of professionals and peritoneal treatment centres and units that promotes learning opportunities and collaborations across the member Peritoneal Treatment Centers and units.
APSMG helps clinicians from member institutions to obtain cross-institutional experience, conduct relevant research in peritoneal surface malignancies aided by the set-up of a coordinated database, improve the standards of management of peritoneal disease, and secure collaborations with industry partners to facilitate clinical training, education and research opportunities for all members of the APSMG.
Peritoneal Surface Malignancy Course event will be held in 2018 in Singapore!
This year we will be focusing on addressing all peri-operative aspects in the management of peritoneal malignancy. Evidence- based data on current treatments and outcomes for specific peritoneal tumor groups will be covered. The criteria for patient selection, including contra-indications and pre-operative optimization measures will be extensively discussed.
This year’s program includes live surgery showcase of surgical techniques for cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy, including tips and tricks for the management of difficult areas for cytoreductive surgery.

The group is dedicated to improving the standards of management and survival of peritoneal disease patients through educating patients, training physicians, facilitating exchange of ideas by organizing meetings and by performing basic and clinical scientific research into peritoneal cancer and the different treatment modalities.
